Covering a broad spectrum of rock styles while drawing from an obvious array of influences, STOHL-N’s debut release “Let it Rain” scores big with heavy metal devotees and new rock fans alike. The CD has drawn the attention of local rock stations and is currently the top selling disc at Music Lizard and a favorite at many record stores and at Power Play Records.

Chuck Stohl’s searing guitar work shines brightly on the entire disc, especially while tearing through “Welcome to Hell,” guiding the instrumental “Mountain Thing,” or getting bluesy on “That’s’ Life.” Ed Bruhn makes his presence felt on the crowd pleasing “Lost,” and shows his storytelling skills on “So I Wait” and “Painted Clowns.” Bill Harroun and Bob Goss provide a sonic backbone throughout, most notably on “Too Fast to Fall” and “Wrecking Ball.”
